Class description:
In this class, we’ll explore movement as a way of expression, combining the fundamentals of modern Shaolin Kung Fu with contemporary dance and acrobatics. Together, we’ll work on finding flow between softness and explosiveness while building strength, flexibility, and coordination.
We’ll also bring in some exciting elements like practicing with staff and sword, implementing them into our choreographies. Along the way, we’ll include meditative practices originating from chinese Qi Gong and Tai Chi to help ground us.
This is a space to grow at your own pace while supporting and learning from one another. Whether you’re here for the challenge, the creativity, or the fun, there’s something for everyone.
