Workshop description:
This 3-hour workshop merges urban-inspired contemporary dance with acrobatics, offering a fresh approach to movement exploration. It begins with a dynamic warm-up, followed by sequences and exercises to delve into acrobatic tricks, floorwork, and ways to seamlessly incorporate them into dance. Collaborative improvisation, drawing from cypher methodology, fosters connection and creative discovery.
The session concludes with a choreographed phrase that brings together everything practiced, celebrating artistry and expression. Created for those curious about urban-contemporary dance and acrobatics, this workshop provides an engaging and supportive space to experience these forms.
