Class Description:
This class focuses on extracting the core principles and physics behind acrobatic movement. We dive into topics such as: using momentum and gravity, weight distribution, rolling and inversions. The technical movements taught in this class derive mainly from Soft Acrobatics and Contemporary Floorwork. Through guided creative explorations, we encourage individuality and the inherent artistry each student brings to the practice. By exploring opposing movement qualities—strength & control versus softness & fluidity—we aim to approach the full spectrum of movement, fostering a fluid, receptive, and responsive body.
