Jahn Kemper
Jahn Kemper’s music is characterized by original lyrics that are often melancholic and dark. He is 16 years old, comes from Germany, and has already performed at various live shows across southwestern Germany. In May 2026, the young German-Slovenian musician released his new self-produced album “Spuren” (Traces).
He has also appeared as a support act for several bands, including Artemis Rising (Electric Metalcore, Heavy Grounds Aschaffenburg, May 2025), QNTAL (Aschaffenburg Museumsnacht), and The Infamous Her (USA, most recently in March 2026 at Soku in Neustadt an der Weinstraße).
Mannheim’s 7er-Radio also reported on the March gig:
“Ambitious German-language lyrics with depth, wrapped in powerful metal, came as a surprise. It already takes quite a bit of courage to stand alone on stage and sing. But getting the audience to rock along, performing, and promoting music with a message is on a whole different level.”
Subground Club

DAWN PROTECTION is a project formed in 2014 that made a significant impact on the scene with their debut album in the spring of 2015. Recorded at the legendary Studio Fredman—renowned for its work with heavy metal giants—the collaboration resulted in a stunning record that gained widespread acclaim across the global digital landscape.
Over the years, the band has maintained an active touring schedule and expanded their discography with several key releases, including their 2022 EP and a recent 2025 single.
At its core, DAWN PROTECTION delivers beautiful, emotive music paired with high-level technical proficiency and top-tier production. The sound is primarily defined as Atmospheric Melodic Metal infused with Progressive elements.
